A series of smirking french fries cast in tin. Through this series I wanted to explore how we interact with objects through rosy retrospection. When re-engaging with an item from our formative years, we often create a more shiny impression of that item in our mind, replacing how it was initially experienced. This phenomenon inevitably alters how we encounter objects in the present.
