Nedda May is an interdisciplinary artist from the Southern Alberta prairies, of Treaty 7 Blackfoot territory. Nedda currently lives in Vancouver on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh nations. Her practice focuses heavily on the material processes of sculpting and metalworking, often taking on the forms of cast objects, recycled materials and field recordings. Nedda holds a BFA in Sculpture + Expanded Practices from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
